Remembrance Day

Firstly, thanks to all who participated in one or more of the Remembrance Day events across the
district. It was great to see the pictures of our members representing scouting at their local
churches, at the Cathedral and on parade. I know it meant a lot to everyone who took part, and
more than that, it meant a lot to the local communities of which we are an important and integral
part. Thank you for taking the time to commemorate the occasion in such a sensitive and thoughtful
way.
Lest we forget.

Scouting provides a second family to lots of young people. It’s a safe place where they can aspire and grow.'
