You will need: Packed lunch, your instrument and your music, certificate from your latest music exam if you have one.
What to wear: your uniform top, necker, comfortable trousers and socks!
This year the music day will include a gamelan workshop. A gamelan is a collection of instruments from Indonesia that are all played together. There will be an expert tutor running the sessions for us.
Traditionally gamelan instruments are played without outdoor shoes so make sure you are wearing socks or bring some slippers.
Some of the activities will count towards the staged
music badges. In particular, each participant should bring along a short piece that they know well to perform on the day.
To take part you need to complete this consent form and return it with £4 to your leader before Friday 4th March 2011.
